INDO AEROSPACE 2026 EXPO & FORUM STRENGTHENS COLLABORATION THROUGH PARTICIPATIONS AT IMROS 2025

Jakarta, 14 October 2025 – As part of its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s aviation, aircraft and airport industry, the 9th Indo Aerospace proudly participated as an exhibitor and delegate in the Indonesia MRO Summits (IMROS) 2025 on 14 – 15 October 2025 at Grand Mercure Harmoni, Jakarta.

According to global aviation forecasts, Indonesia is projected to become the world’s sixth-largest air travel market by 2034, driving a surge in demand for MRO services to support fleet expansion and operational reliability. Against this backdrop, IMROS 2025 serves as a critical forum for discussing key industry themes — from technological advancements and regulatory developments to sustainability initiatives, digital transformation, and workforce readiness for the future.

In line with this growing momentum, the participation of Indo Aerospace 2026 at IMROS 2025 highlights its commitment to supporting the growth and modernization of Indonesia’s aviation and aerospace industries. Through this participation, Indo Aerospace 2026 engaged with key representatives from the naval, coast guard, rescue, and offshore industries, exploring cross-sector opportunities to integrate aerospace technologies into maritime operations and security frameworks. As one of the country’s flagship events under the Indo Defence series hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, Indo Aerospace continues to provide an international platform for stakeholders to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and explore collaborative opportunities in aviation technology and defense aerospace development.

Building upon these collaborative efforts, Indo Aerospace 2026 Expo & Forum will further highlight the rapid development of unmanned systems in the defense sector through the introduction of a dedicated UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) Zone. This new feature will showcase a wide range of drone technologies — from advanced surveillance systems and tactical UAVs to unmanned combat aerial vehicles and supporting solutions for intelligence, reconnaissance, and logistics. Designed to provide direct access to the latest innovations, the UAVs Zone aims to facilitate deeper engagement between industry players, defense professionals, and government representatives in exploring cutting-edge capabilities that are reshaping modern defense strategies.

These innovations will be part of Indo Aerospace 2026 Expo & Forum scheduled from 18th to 21th November 2026. The exhibitions will feature cutting-edge developments in Tri -Service: Defence, Aerospace, Maritime, and Security Event. As of now, Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum has successfully exceeded its target with 1.183 participants from 55 countries with 32 country pavilions and 45.691 visitors in 4 days. The upcoming edition is set to further strengthen Indonesia’s position as a key player in the global defense and aerospace ecosystem.
